Dear Parents,

It is with the deepest regret that we announce a second closing of our center as of Friday evening, 7/10/20 due to the global pandemic. Our decision to reopen the school this past Monday was made a few weeks ago when the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic appeared to be slowing down. Apparently, that downward trend is no longer the state of affairs and caution dictates our response. Although we have taken every health and safety precaution directed by The Office of Child Development and Early Learning, we cannot in good conscious continue to remain open as the infection rate climbs. Just yesterday we received another update from them that dictates all children over the age of two must wear facemasks. Many parents have indicated they feel this practice unsafe for young children and would not attend if this instruction is employed.

We understand that our closing may cause hardship for families who need childcare and for that we are truly apologetic. Our intentions were for the best but circumstances have altered our timetable. We expect to remain closed till the beginning of the school year when hopefully, we will see an improved outlook for reopening the center.
