To Our ABC LAND Families,

In light of the rapidly evolving public health crisis, and the actions taken by the Governor of Pennsylvania, The Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL), and other agencies, ABC LAND has been closed since March, 13, 2020. Rest assured, we will reopen as soon as safety and the Governor dictate. Understanding these are extraordinary circumstances, and to diminish any financial hardship for our families, tuition and co-pays will not be assessed during this period. Hopefully, the revenue lost will not cause significant harm to our school budget.

As you know, we keep a very clean facility and since the outbreak of Covid-19, we have further enhanced our sanitation practices. The school and its contents have undergone a complete  cleaning and disinfecting. In order to make a decision to reopen that puts the safety of children and teachers first, we ask that you continue to self-report any illness, known exposure to Covid-19, and confirmed cases of Covid-19 in your household during the duration of this closure. Upon re-opening, any child that is experiencing noticeable signs of illness MUST STAY HOME. Your child will not be permitted to attend school if they are sick. Examples include cough, runny noses, sneezing, fever, vomiting, and diarrhea. Due to the Coronavirus, cold symptoms are now included. There will be no exceptions to this policy.

In closing, the entire staff greatly misses our ABC LAND children and their families. We are very appreciative of everyone’s joint effort to fight the spread of Covid-19. Let us continue to patiently work together to make the health and safety of our families, friends, and neighbors our highest priority.
